Hello! My name is Hannah Stadler and I am a graduate student of Marriage and Family Therapy. I am enthusiastic to begin my journey at EVOLVEwithin as an intern followed by a permanent residency, but first a little about myself.
I grew up in Lake Country. I came from a family of divorced parents, and as a result I myself attended therapy at a young age. Due to my own positive experience with therapy, it played a major impact on my life. This experience lead me to become a therapist so I can help others in the same way my therapist helped me. In my free time I enjoy working out, cooking, baking, cuddling my new kitten, and traveling with my loved ones whenever I get the opportunity.
MY PRIMARY FOCUS
For starters, I am passionate about working with people to teach them skills that will result in healthy, positive changes. I work with clients of all ages with a wide range of issues. My hope is for my clients come to therapy with an open mind and willingness to adapt to change so together we can help you thrive. I help my clients to identify feelings associated with behaviors and actions, as well as provide psychoeducation and a variety of therapeutic interventions tailored to each client. I am glad that you have taken the first and most important step towards a change.
The areas in which I focus most of my attention on are anxiety and families. Specifically: teen and adult anxiety, blended families, couples contemplating divorce or separation, assisting children and teens through the struggles of parental divorced or separation and lastly, I enjoy working with families with special needs children.
For my Bachelors Degree I attended Carroll University in Waukesha; fun-fact, I double majored in psychology and education. Currently I am in graduate school for Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University.
Prior to my clinical internship at EVOLVEwithin, I spent a lot of my internship hours at Power for Change LLC, an in-home intensive therapy program supporting children, teens, and families through a variety of diagnoses. Additionally, prior to my clinical internships, I enhanced my degree in psychology by working in various settings including inpatient and residential programs, in-home therapy, and ABA therapy for children with Autism. I also volunteered at several private practice counseling agencies during the last few years of my educational journey.
